The first and best option for all local residents to secure Glastonbury Festival tickets was to follow the same procedures as everybody else - online or by phone on 3rd October 2010 or in a subsequent re-sale. Local residents will need to register to purchase tickets - exactly the same as any other ticket buyers.
In Spring 2011, a limited number of tickets were made available for people resident in the parishes surrounding Pilton village, who have registered using that address, but who have been unable to buy tickets when first released.
Sunday tickets were also made available exclusively to residents of Central Somerset to come to the Festival for one day, on Sunday 26th June 2011. Sunday ticket purchasers need not register.
